Transcripts
& Grade Reports
Transcripts sent to colleges or universities, prospective employers,
funding agencies, etc. are considered “official.”
Transcripts sent directly to the student are stamped “Issued
to Student” and are considered “unofficial.”
For students enrolled after the
summer of 2003, unofficial
transcripts and grade reports are accessed online over a secure web site. Students enter
the site through the Connect ND Portal using a UserID and a password. See
Grades on the Web or
Transcripts on the Web for more
details.
Requesting a
Transcript
MSU-Bottineau provides transcripts for current
and previously enrolled students.
Requests for transcripts must be submitted in writing,
signed, and dated by the individual whose record is being
requested. The
Transcript Request Form can be used to request
your transcript.
-
There is no charge for transcripts sent via
regular mail.
-
Transcripts are usually processed within 48
hours of the request. Requests
made at the beginning or end of a term may require an extra day
for processing.
-
A transcript request will not be processed
if a student owes money to the college or is in default on a
student loan.
Official
transcripts that bear the seal of the college are not issued to
students. To have an official transcript sent from MSU-Bottineau to
another college, you must make the request in writing. Mail your
request to
Student Services.
