Paraeducation
Associate in Applied
Science
The
two-year Paraeducation major prepares students for employment as teacher aides in
elementary and secondary schools. The program also provides a means for
current paraprofessionals to meet the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and
the
ND Department of Public Instruction certification requirements.
The
program is organized around core courses that emphasize math, reading, and
writing. The curriculum can be completed using one or more of the following
delivery formats: traditional on-campus classes, online classes, and/or
interactive video classes.
