Greenhouse Technology

Diploma

This one-year program will prepare students for the production of flowering, foliage, and bedding plants in a greenhouse setting.  Students will receive instruction in planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and spraying plants.  Students will learn how to cut, roll, and stack sod; stake trees; tie, wrap, and pack plants to fill orders; and dig up or move field-grown and containerized shrubs and trees.  This program is available both on-campus and online.
