Landscape Technology

Diploma

This one-year program will prepare students for planning, designing, installing and maintaining landscape plantings for functional, recreational and aesthetic purposes.  Students will acquire knowledge to grade property, install lighting and sprinkler systems, and build walkways, terraces, patios, decks, and fountains.  In addition to transporting and planting new vegetation, students will learn the proper techniques to transplant, mulch, fertilize, and water flowering plants, trees, and shrubs and manicure landscapes.
