Admission Procedures
 

 

Admission of Degree Seeking Students

 

Students can apply online or by printing and mailing a paper application. For detailed information about the admission policies, consult the college catalog.

 

Submit the following to Student Services:

  • One-time, non-refundable application fee of $35 payable to MSU-Bottineau

  • Application for Admission

    • Print a paper application (PDF)

    • Apply online using the ConnectND web site. Follow the steps for prospective students in the lower right window. The steps are:

      1. Visit the link called “Obtain a User Account." and complete the submission form. With your User Account, you can apply online, find Financial Aid information, and update your User Account Profile.

      2. After completing this process, a User name and Password will be e-mailed to you. Re-enter ConnectND and log in.

      3. Under Applicant Self Service, link to  Community Access.

      4. In the main window, select the link for Online Admissions Application; complete each the seven sections.  When you are done, "Save and Submit" your application.

  • ACT results

    • Applicants 25 years of age or older on their first day of class are exempt for this admission requirement

  • Official final high school transcript or GED results

  • Official transcripts from all other colleges attended

    • Transfer applicants who have completed more than 24 semester or 36 quarter hours of transferable credit are not required to submit their high school transcript

  • Proof of immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella if you will attend classes on campus

 

Admission of Students Not Seeking A Degree

 

If you are a non-degree seeking student, simply complete Application for Admission online form, submit the one-time $35 application fee, register for classes, and pay your tuition. 

 

At such time you become a degree seeking student, you will need to provide the information outlined in the section entitled "Admission of Degree Seeking Students."
