Admission and Registration Process

Enrolling in a program at MSU-Bottineau is easy. Just follow these steps, and you will soon be ready to start.

• Apply for admission: This is a one-time process for all students, including those not seeking a degree.
  

• Apply for Federal financial aid, if needed.

• Plan your schedule: Familiarize yourself with the program requirements. Select a workload from the program requirements that is manageable and that fits your anticipated completion date. Get help from the program advisor.

• Register for classes: Use ConnectND to enroll in classes. This includes only online classes from MSU-Bottineau and not those taken as a Collaborative Student.  Instruction for ConnectND can be found at the following link:

• Order textbooks and other materials: Orders placed at the campus bookstore will be sent directly to you.

• Make payment arrangements: Paying for tuition, fees, and books is done through the Business Office.
