Faculty may place materials physically on reserve in the library to support course work.  Because these materials are in high demand, they may only be used for limited amounts of time.  Some instructors may specify that reserve materials for their classes are to be used only in the library or that they may not circulate overnight.

All materials on reserve in the library can be found in ODIN under the COURSE RESERVES link on the top right of the ODIN basic search screen.  Searching may be done by faculty, course number, title and a variety of other options.

Another method used by many of our faculty is the Electronic Reserves (ERes) web site.  There is a link from our main page to this site.  Course reserve materials may be searched by a variety of methods such as faculty name, course number or course name.  Faculty will give all students the password for their classes if they choose to password protect their materials.  Since ERes is web-based, students may view the documents at any time from any location.
