Housing & Residential Life

MSU-Bottineau residence halls are designed to provide comfortable living quarters for students while they are enrolled at the College.

Benefits to Residence Hall Living:

  • Easy access to campus events.
  • Greater involvement in campus life.
  • A chance to socialize with peers in a "living-learning" environment.
  • Close to classrooms, labs, library, and food service. When you need a break, you can work out in the weight or fitness rooms, surf the net in a computer lab, or shoot a few hoops in the gym.
  • Enhancement of interpersonal skills.

The Basics

  • Each room in Gross, Milligan and Mead Hall contains desks, closets/drawers.
  • Rooms are equipped with cable TV, local telephone service and internet access.
  • All Residence hall students are on food service contract, i.e., 15 meals Monday through Friday. Weekend meals can be purchased on campus at the Student Center.
  • Each hall has laundry facilities and rental refrigerators. Washers cost 50 cents per load and dryers are free. Refrigerators can be rented for $25 per semester or $45 per year.
  • Mail is delivered to each room around noon of each weekday.
  • A parking lot is adjacent to each residence hall.
