Management: MSU-Bottineau is one of the eleven campuses in the North Dakota University System which is governed by the seven member North Dakota State Board of Higher Education.

Curricula: The college offers 32 vocational-technical programs or options leading to certificates, diplomas, or AAS degrees. It also offers comprehensive university parallel/transfer coursework leading to AA or AS degrees.
Location: Bottineau is a city of 2,600 residents that is located 14 miles from the Canadian border and is equal distance from the state’s east and west borders. Bottineau is located in the Turtle Mountain area. Although the mountains are rolling wooded hills interspersed with lakes, they provide a setting for a variety of recreational activities within easy commuting distance of Bottineau and give substance to the area’s reputation as a “Four Season’s Playground.” Lake Metigoshe, the International Peace Garden, Bottineau Winter Park, J.Clark Salyer Refuge, Lake Metigoshe State Park and the Turtle Mountain Forest are just some of the natural assets that surround Bottineau and provide recreational opportunities as well as acres and acres of outdoor learning laboratories.
Campus: The 35-acre campus of MSU-Bottineau is located on the northern edge of the city of Bottineau. It consists of five classroom buildings, three residence halls, a student center, and three interactive video network studios.
Admission Requirements: Open enrollment to high school and GED graduates.
Library: The library is a member of ODIN, the Online Dakota Information Network. This network allows students to search over 4,000,000 titles. The library also houses over 26,000 volumes, in addition to a wide variety of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual periodicals.
Parent Campus: Minot State University, Minot, North Dakota.
School Nicknames: Lumberjacks and Ladyjacks.
