MSU-Bottineau Library :: Off-Campus Library

The MSU-Bottineau Library is pleased to provide you with library services while you are enrolled at MSU-Bottineau.

I am Jan Wysocki, the librarian in charge of making sure you get the library services you need.  If you need any help please feel free to email me or call me toll free at 1-800-542-6866  (library extension 454).

The first step to receiving library services is to submit the application for services .  As soon as we have your application, we will send you an email indicating that your privileges have been activated. We will no longer be mailing you a library card, rather you will be using your 7-digit EMPL university system number (that begins with a zero) as your library number while you are enrolled as a student at MSU-Bottineau. This number will allow you to log in to ODIN and all of the subscription databases; it will also allow you to check out materials from the library.

Logging on to the subscription databases:

   If you are off campus and want to search the databases, you will  need to log in.

  • Your login number is the 7-digit North Dakota University System number (EMPL number that begins with zero).
  • Your password is your last name.
  • For tutorials with tips on how to search the databases, click here
